Part time riders (2-4 days/week)

Looking for motivated, passionate and personable bike riders, and all-around Hamiltonian ambassadors! Are you an avid cyclist, environmental activist, and a lover of our beautiful city? If so, read on, friend!

We are looking for 1-2 part time riders to join our new, fast growing and exciting company.

Job Description:

A typical riding shift is 3-5 hours in length, requiring stamina and a willingness to work in all weather conditions. We ride rain or shine, -30C or +30C, delivering weekly orders of locally made, sustainably focused food products and groceries. Other tasks may involve buying, packing and organizing orders.

Must Haves:

  • Extensive all weather, all season riding experience. Ideally with cargo or courier bike experience. Please explain in your cover letter.

  • Strong cyclist with a ability to ride an 8ft long cargo bike loaded with up to 200lbs of goods for 20-40kms.

  • Driver's license with clean driver’s abstract. Yes, you may have to drive a vehicle too :) ...and yes, we see the irony as well.

  • A working knowledge of Hamilton streets and safe biking routes.

  • Smart Serve Certification or be willing/eligible to acquire (19+).

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Available most:

    • Wednesday afternoons

    • Thursday afternoons

    • Friday afternoons

    • Saturday morning/afternoons.

  • A passion for issues surrounding local food, sustainability and healthy lifestyle.

  • Sales experience.

  • Must be SELF-DIRECTED, and willing to work with limited supervision. We are looking for people who are multi-talented and work well alone, as well as in a team environment.

  • Highly organized!

Bonus Experience:

  • Digital marketing, social media and/or sales background.

  • Web development experience.
