Waterfront Festival of Lights

With the changing season our thoughts turn to winter pursuits and what better way to lighten the mood than a dazzling array of brightly coloured figures and designs. Locally made in the classrooms and by the Hamilton Waterfront Trust, sponsored by community businesses, neighbourhood groups and individuals, this display carries on the tradition of the Hamilton Waterfront Trust’s commitment to promoting Pier 8 for the benefit of all citizens. The Hamilton Waterfront Trust is a charitable organization with the mandate of connecting you to the water’s edge.

A new showcase series from Mohawk College Music, featuring teachers and students coming together to make music, organized by pianist Adrean Farrugia, and bassist Clark Johnston. Mohawk students are saxophonist Michael Morabito and vocalist Alyssa Giammaria.

Griffin House Stories @ The HPL

Anne Jarvis, historical interpreter at Griffin House, National Historic Site, will give a talk on Enerals Griffin, an early black settler to the area. She will also talk about other stories of early black history in Hamilton.
